Emma Bazell - Head Student

Hi, I am Emma, one of your head students at Priory. My goal for the school is to create a safe learning environment for every student. I feel at Priory everyone should get the opportunity to be the best they can be in school and to really thrive and I believe Priory makes that possible and am so thankful for being able to represent that.

Freddy Jones - Head Student

Hello, I am Freddy, one of your head students here at Priory. My goal for the school is to allow every single student at the school to reach their maximum potential and grow as a person. The time you spend in secondary school is some of the most important years of your life and I believe at Priory it should be our number one priority to helping the students thrive. That is why I am insanely grateful for being allowed to help in that as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Freya Grafton - Deputy Head Student

My name is Freya Grafton and I am a Year 11 student at Priory Community School. My role as part of the senior leadership team is Deputy Head Student. One of my aims at this school is to make sure all students follow Priory’s main values of aspiration, integrity and respect and to help them enjoy their time and feel comfortable and safe to talk to people about their needs and requirements without judgement. I feel that Priory has been very supportive over my previous years at the school especially with my extracurricular activities such as representing Great Britain in my gymnastics. Priory is a brilliant school that thrives to see each and every student shine in their own ways and if you work hard and set your mind to something, it is always achievable.

Josh Harding - Deputy Head Student

Hello, My name is Josh Harding and I am one of PCSA Deputy Head Students. I am kind and caring and I am so excited to be part of the leadership team. This year I would really love to look at how we can provide a connection and form a trusting relationship between not just Year 7 but the whole community at PCSA.

Ella Wright - Senior Prefect (Rewards)

My name is Ella and I am a Senior Prefect at Priory. I will lead a team focusing on rewards. I’m sporty, hard working, respected and respectful. My role is to ensure that people at Priory are proud of their achievements, will want to celebrate them and acknowledge their hard work. I will strive to ensure every student at Priory feels valued and recognised. I also want to promote how behaving well in school does have benefits and will also try to encourage people to do better. My team and I will work very hard to achieve this and I can’t wait to start!

Charlie Owens - Senior Prefect (Character Education)

I want to help reinforce the School’s Core Values at Priory (Aspiration, Integrity and Respect). I want to teach the importance of Character Education and why it is useful in day to day Life.

Hannah Fowler - Senior Prefect (Sport)

My name is Hannah and I am Priory’s current senior prefect for sport and enrichment. I was appointed to this role due to my interest and passion for sport; I study sport for GCSE and I am a keen netball player, currently playing at an adult and regional level. I am also a committed member to multiple school enrichment clubs including the sports teams, drama and music and academic clubs. My role will help to improve this area of Priory school life.

Sam Smith - Senior Prefect (Learning Culture)

My main focal point is to streamline communication between students and the members of staff at PCSA in order to allow the voice’s of students to be a significant part in decisions that the school makes. I thoroughly believe that this will have a substantially positive impact on PCSA students’ experiences and develop a higher morale for those who already attend the school, and those about to join, creating a more focused and motivated attitude amongst students.

Lottie Hughes - Senior Prefect (Health and Wellbeing)

My name is Lottie Hughes and I am a senior prefect at Priory. I am very passionate about the school and strive to be the best role model I can be. At school I am particularly interested in biology and geography and would like to continue studying these subjects at the end of the school year. I am also  part of the school hockey team and play for Weston outside of school.

In my role as head of the Health and Wellbeing Committee, I wish to make students feel welcome and like they have someone to talk to especially when they first start at Priory. I also would like to use my experience as a student taking their GCSEs to support others, especially the Year 10s and 11s, during exam time. I would also like to implement some break time or after school clubs to help those who are struggling. Please feel free to come and speak to me if you have any concerns surrounding health and wellbeing or if you have any ideas that you would like to share.

Ben Fieldhouse - Senior Prefect (Learning Culture)

Hi, my name is Ben, I am a part of the student leadership team where my main role is learning culture. Within my role I aim to improve the communication between staff and students. This will make students feel more comfortable talking with staff and more inclined to ask for help to accelerate their progress within lessons.

Chloe Mathers - Chair of PECO Committee

I am the head of the PECO Committee at PCSA and I work with the student leadership team to help keep PCSA an eco-friendly and sustainable school. I have been a member of the PECO Committee since it was started last year and I have many plans to improve the school this year. Keeping the school a sustainable place is important to me because I believe that we should all do our part to help take care of the environment.
